With 20 years of experience in the equestrian industry, I have dedicated my career to various aspects of horse care and riding instruction. I began in the sport horse world traveling to H/J shows as a professional groom where I gained hands-on experience in the competitive equestrian world.
From there I shifted into a role as a veterinary assistant at a lameness diagnostic clinic, where I gained invaluable insights into equine health and locomotion. My several years working in equine insurance, broadening my understanding of horse businesses across disciples.
For almost a decade, my sole focus has been teaching adaptive riding and running inclusive summer camps at a PATH Premier center in Virginia. This is where my passion for horse met my purpose.
Inspired by my riders and amazing coworkers and friends, I have grown into a person continually seeking growth. I avidly research topics such as learning theories, communication, horse and rider interactions, biomechanics, and medical diagnoses related to riding.
I believe that riding lessons should be fun, engaging, and goal-oriented, ensuring a positive experience for all riders. I want to encourage every riding instructor to never stop learning so collectively we can raise the bar for our industry.
